The much awaited Predator DLC release for “Mortal Kombat X” is reportedly less than just two weeks away for the PS4 and Xbox One gamers.
“Mortal Kombat X” for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has just received the patch 1.06 update that brings about a number of gameplay fixes and tweaks, while paving the way for the most anticipated upcoming Prey Pack DLC expected to include Predator.
Patch 1.06 includes new brutalities along with major tweaks like it is now possible to exit a “King of the Hill” session as the king without counting as a loss, auto save of Match Replays can be turned off, and even the DualShock 4 controllers can be turned off, after a fight stick is paired to the PS4, Game Rant reported.
The last patch added an old lady brutality to the “Mortal Kombat X,” and it is yet to be known about how many the developer NetherRealm has added in this patch. However, players have already started the hunt for secret brutalities with the first one found to be - a new hammer brutality for Quan Chi, according to Product Reviews.
Apart from the general gameplay tweaks, the patch 1.06 also comes with a list of specific character tweaks for fighters such as D’Vorah, Cassie Cage, Ermac, Erron Black, Goro, Johnny Cage, Jax and Kenshi. The full pact notes is available at the community forums.
“Mortal Kombat X” patch 1.06 has also added new character bios for not just the expected Predator, but also for three more new DLC skins as well - Jax, Johnny Cage, and Scorpion to be added to the Kombat Pack. The new Jax skin is styled after the character Dillon played by Carl Weathers in the “Predator” film, while the Johnny Cage is modeled after Arnold Schwarzenegger. The third new skin - Scorpion has a infrared costume, though a second skin is expected to be added later.
Ed Boon, co-creator of “Mortal Kombat X” has also teased the gamers with his tweet “Recreate the Predator Movie (Komplete with Carl Weathers Jax) in Mortal Kombat X. Koming Soon.....”
NetherRealm is speculated to roll out the Predator pack or Prey pack by early July, more likely on July 7. However, there is no official “Mortal Kombat X” Prey pack release date as of now.
