Popular boy band One Direction is recording its fifth album, proof that their future in the music industry was not compromised by the sudden exit in March by Zayn Malik. Besides the upcoming album, 1D had some incredible performances in Europe and is soon coming to the United States, share member Harry Styles on the 100th day of Zayn's exit.
There was even no major change in the show's production after the 22-year-old Zayn left. Different members of the band divided among themselves Zayn's part. "Other than that, the shows have been going absolutely great," states 21-year-old Harry, quotes Entertainment Weekly.
For instance, for their hit song "Story of My Life," Zayn's solo part that has high notes has been assigned to Liam Payne. "He kicks them in the bollocks every show. He doesn't hold back," Harry said, quotes MTV. Other members of the band had picked up Zayn's parts in other pieces since all members "know the songs well enough to do that," he adds.
Perrie Edwards of Little Mix, the fiancé of Zayn, said that he is standing by his decision to go solo, and she believes it was a right decision. But Perrie clarifies that she did not influence Zayn's decision to quit 1D in response to accusation by fans of the boy band that she encouraged him to leave 1D.
"Zayn is his own person and makes his own decisions. Whatever he wanted to do that time, I was going to support him 100 percent," OK quotes Perrie who says she wants to have children with Zayn within the next three years.
In May, Liam told Capital FM that the reason behind Zayn's departure was so he could spend more time with Perrie. The couple has been speculated to be getting married soon, however, neither Zayn nor Perrie have confirmed any altar date.
