Taylor Swift's former boyfriend Harry Styles has recently dished on how One Direction is after the departure of Zayn Malik. The 21-year-old singer and songwriter said that the band is doing great and there shows are going smoothly.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Styles was asked if the production of One Direction's concert has changed without Malik. He said the only changes that have been were the parts Malik sang having been picked up by different people.

"Other than that, the shows have been going absolutely great," Styles said. He added that there have been incredible shows across Europe, some of the best they have had and they are "super excited about coming to America."

American fans of One Direction have been following the band's European tour and on July 9, Thursday, the band will launch a United States tour in San Diego.

With Malik having a big solo on "Story of My Life," One Direction is likely to have had to modify the set list at all. About this, Styles said it would be "pretty devastating" if they took that song out so Liam Payne stepped up to do the song's high notes.

"He kicks them in the bollocks every show," Styles said of Payne taking over Malik's high notes in "Story Of My Life. "He doesn't hold back." Meanwhile, Swift spent Fourth Of July with Calvin Harris in at her Rhode Island home. On July 2, Styles' former girlfriend had a low-key dinner with her current boyfriend, News York Daily News has learned.

Aside from Harris, Swift's friends Gigi Hadid and Serayah, who is set to reprise her role as Tiana Brown in "Empire 2," also joined the "Bad Blood" singer in her Fourth Of July party.
