Rumors about the specifications and features of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 are already circulating around the Web. Now, according to latest reports, the upcoming device will run in two operating systems.

The new phablet will have a special version with the Windows Phone 10, AutooMobile reported. At present, it is not known if the Galaxy Note 5 will be the ideal fit for Windows Phone 10 since it sees huge competition in Nokia phones.

Furthermore, many pictures of the Galaxy Note 5 cases were recently spotted. A new set of leaked pictures shows a set of new protective case. These cases are transparent and feature big holes on the back for the heart rate sensor, the rear camera and LED flash, according to International Business Times.

In addition, there are four holes at the bottom of the cases, possibly for a 3.5mm headset jack, S Pen stylus and a speaker. The Galaxy Note 5 appeared to have its volume keys on the left side and power button on the right side.

According to reports, the Galaxy Note 5 will have a 2K or a 4K Super AMOLED flat display, however, there is a possibility that Samsung could switch to an OLED display.

Reports also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will come in three variants, 64GB, 32GB and 16GB with expandable storage of 128GB. In addition, the new device will have a quad-core Snapdragon 808 variant and an octa-core processor clocked at 2.9Ghz.

The new phablet will have aluminium-finished edges with an all-metallic curved body. It will be water-resistant, scratch resistant and dust resistant. Other features of the Galaxy Note 5 include a Knox Security mode, retina scanner and a finger print sensor. It is believed that the Galaxy Note 5 will cost around $1,000.

The upcoming Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be launched in August or September this year.
