Apple iOS 9 will be showcased at WWDC 2015.

Apple Inc. has now released the various split screen capabilities in the new iOS 9. The special multitasking features are exclusive to the latest iPad models.

The new features under the iOS9 public beta include Slide Over app sidebar, a side-by-side Split View, and Picture in Picture with videos floating on top of another app. In addition, the Cupertino-based tech company has already fixed the keyboard, not making it as all caps all the time, Tech Crunch reported.

Slide Over and Picture-in-Picture features will work with iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 2, or iPad mini 3, while the Split View works with iPad Air 2. The iOS 9 public beta will definitely offers the users two apps simultaneously on iPads to work with. One is, users can view apps in the split screen, while video calling and browsing other apps. Second is, they can switch between open apps instantly, according to Macworld.

The Slide Over app can slide over a second app into view as a sidebar, selecting and switching to different apps. This app freezes the original opened app and switch to the new one like Mail, Safari, Notes, Maps, and Messages.

Split View features can be activated when pressing and holding the second app as a divided in between two apps, dragging it to the center of the screen and activating the split-screen feature. This app lets the users see two apps on the same screen.

Picture in Picture app lets you watch a video in fullscreen and it can be minimized without pausing or skipping while browsing other apps. Videos that are fit in this app are from Videos app, FaceTime and iTunes.
