Chinese jailbreaking team TaiG released iOS 8.4 untethered jailbreak v2.3.1, which includes support to Cydia 1.1.20.
TaiG recently rolled out the beta version of the aforementioned untethered jailbreak. Users who already downloaded the TaiG jailbreak tool 2.0.0 can simply update to the latest TaiG 8.1.3-8.x Untether by downloading thru TaiG's official website.
According to International Business Times, Cydia developer saurik pushed out a new update to Cydia 1.1.20, which is aimed to fix all of the issues that cropped up in the previous release.
One of the most notable features of the latest version is its support for Cydia's sources/repo list in iTunes. This means that whenever you create a backup to iTunes, your sources/repos list in Cydia will be automatically included in the iTunes backup. Thus, when a user restore the iOS device, the jailbreak as well as the favorite sources/repos in Cydia will be available.
The Chinese jailbreaking group is quick in releasing updates for the latest iOS 8.4 jailbreak, which it released last week hours after Apple seeded the official version of iOS 8.4 to the public. The jailbreak tool can be downloaded in TaiG's official website and is compatible with the iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, 6 and 6 Plus; iPad 2 or later; iPad Mini or later and fifth generation iPod Touches running software between iOS 8.1.3 and 8.4.
Meanwhile, Chinese jailbreaking PP released its own version of iOS 8.4 jailbreak right after TaiG. However, the two jailbreaking groups got into a feud after the latter claimed that PP stole their code in order to release its own jailbreak.
On the other hand, iOS 8.4 brings forth a myriad of security fixes on various bugs and issues found in the previous version of iOS. Moreover, iOS 8.4 comes with Apple Music, which is Apple's new music on-demand subscription service and Beats 1 radio. Access to Beats 1 and iTunes Radio is free to all iOS users, but Apple Music is available for a monthly fee of $9.99 a month or $14.99 for a family account.
