Hours after the official roll out of the latest version of Apple's operating system, iOS 8.4 jailbreak download is now available thanks to Chinese jailbreaking teams TaiG and PP.
Jailbreaking group TaiG, who is responsible for iOS 8.3 jailbreak, released the new iOS 8.4 jailbreak shortly after Apple's iOS 8.4. The jailbreak tool can be downloaded in TaiG's official website and is compatible with the iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, 6 and 6 Plus; iPad 2 or later; iPad Mini or later and fifth generation iPod Touches running software between iOS 8.1.3 and 8.4.
Another Chinese jailbreaking PP released its own version of iOS 8.4 jailbreak right after TaiG. However, the two jailbreaking groups got into a feud after the latter claimed that PP stole their code in order to release its own jailbreak.
TaiG expressed its frustration via Twitter by releasing a series of tweets condemning PP's iOS 8.4 jailbreak. "After the release of iOS8.4, TaiG's exploit isn't blocked. BUT PP stole TaiG's exploit for a jailbreak. The act should be strongly condemned," TaiG tweeted. However, PP has not commented on TaiG's allegations yet.
On the other hand, the jailbreak community is just ecstatic that a number of jailbreaking groups are doing their best in coming up with their own jailbreak versions.
iOS 8.4 brings forth a myriad of security fixes on various bugs and issues found in the previous version of iOS. Moreover, iOS 8.4 comes with Apple Music, which is Apple's new music on-demand subscription service and Beats 1 radio.
Access to Beats 1 and iTunes Radio is free to all iOS users, but Apple Music is available for a monthly fee of $9.99 a month or $14.99 for a family account. But for now Apple is offering free three month trial subscription to test the viability of the new feature.
