iOS 9 jailbreak release will be later this year after the launch of the official version of the operating system. Chinese developers K33n and Pangu are reportedly working together on iOS 9 jailbreak.
Chinese jailbreaking team K33n Team will release the iOS 9 jailbreak in the fall, according to WCCF Tech. K33n Team is not a fan of commercialized jailbreak and just wants to provide jailbreaking solution to the iOS. Chinese app stores that are running in jailbreak are paying developers over $1 million to work on untethered jailbreak.
The Pangu Team, on the other hand, showcases the iOS 8.3 jailbreak at the Mobile Security Conference in Sanghai, China. According to Scribbal, the developers claimed that it will release the iOS 8.3 jailbreak in July. The official iOS 8.4 will be rolled out on June 30 packed with new software features.
Meanwhile, the K33n Team reportedly refused to work with another group Chinese jailbreaking group TaiG. TaiG member Ray Xie told iDigital Times that it has no plan to release a jailbreak for both iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.4 and will directly work on iOS 9 jailbreak.
It was previously reported that the new iOS 9 will pack "rootless" security feature that will put an end to all jailbreaks. According to Apple-centric website 9to5 Mac, iOS 9 is a formidable operating system since it will be rootless, which is an all-new security apparatus. Without the root, users with administrative-level will not be able to access certain protected files in Apple devices.
In the past, Apple prevents every jailbreak opportunity by strengthening its security. Once jailbreaks were released, Apple then has the opportunity to patch the system in order to ensure that these software exploits no longer operate.
