X-Men: Apocalypse's Olivia Munn as Psylocke

With Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" hitting the big screen next year, "The Newsroom" actress Olivia Munn, who is playing Psylocke, has revealed the challenge of squeezing into her tight outfit in the upcoming film.

Appearing in the "Conan" talk show last Saturday, Munn disclosed that they lube her as she needs to step into her latex costume. The actress added that she is excited to work with the rest of the "X-Men" cast and she wants to do her job satisfactorily.

Things did not go into Munn's favor when she first tried on her Psylocke costume, as she "popped" the crotch. According to Cinema Blend, it can be assumed that the production team, especially the costume designers have to produce many of such suits as reserves in case Munn pops them again.

Munn's co-star James McAvoy, who is playing young Professor Charles Xavier, also affirmed in the show that scores of lubrication were needed to get the actress into her costume, with a number of women helping her fit the latex suit.

In her interview with Entertainment Weekly at the San Diego Comic-Con, the actress said that having a suit of her own is one of the "coolest things." She added that this experience has given her a bizarre and temporary feeling, which she compares to a dream.

Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Herb Trimpe in 1976, Psylocke's alter ego is Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock. She is known for her telepathic and telekinetic powers, along with precognitive abilities, psychic katana, and martial arts.

Aside from Munn, "X-Men: Apocalypse" stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence Nicholas Hoult, Lucas Till, Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Lana Condor, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ben Hardy, Evan Peters, and Oscar Isaac, among others.

Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to hit the big screen on May 27, 2016. Watch Munn's interview in "Conan" here:
