The much awaited “The Elder Scrolls 6” release might happen by 2016 at an E3 event and will more likely be titled “Argonia” rather than the more speculated “Redguard.”

The next installment in the “Elder Scrolls” franchise missed the E3 2015 as Bethesda is reportedly still working on the game, leaving just “Fallout 4” on the spotlight, Christian Today reported.

This falls in line with Pete Hines, VP of marketing at Bethesda, previous statement that it is quality that the developer is concentrating on and not the number of titles per year. He added that Bethesda wants to make sure everything is noteworthy.

Rumor has it that the recently released “The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited” was just a spin-off of the series and the highly anticipated sixth installment will surprise fans big time.

As per the previous release schedule, “The Elder Scrolls 6” launch will possibly happen at the E3 event next year, according to Master Herald.

Hines also hinted a late “The Elder Scrolls 6” release date, more likely by next year, but refused to comment on anything related to the game title.

The upcoming installment will reportedly be titled “Argonia,” while there are speculations that the game will be named “Redguard.” Bethesda trademarked the title “Redguard,” in the year 2011, the same year “Elder Scrolls: Skyrim” was released.

The title is said to be constantly renewed by the developer, which is the only TES related trademark that is neither inactive nor in use with a previous game, lending weight to rumors of the next installment to be named “Elder Scrolls 6: Redguard.”

It is also reported that there is another game “The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard” already released by Bethesda in 1998. However, the other trademarked titles "Battlespire," "Daggerfall," and "Arena," are said to be inactive.

Last week, Bethesda announced that the developers will reveal information on what's next to "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" at the QuakeCon 2015 press conference to be held on July 24, Friday.

Nevertheless, Bethesda, who has been keeping the wraps tight on anything related to “Elder Scrolls 6” release, is expected to shed some light on the installment.
