"Paper Towns" star Cara Delevingne has no driver's license.

Supermodel and "Paper Towns" star Cara Delevingne has fired back at a leading publication for misstating her sexual orientation.

"My sexuality is not a phase," the 22-year-old model told New York Times on July 16, Thursday, to slam the a recent Vogue cover article that seemed to suggest that her c is just a current phase of her life.

It was during the same interview that the supermodel famously addressed her sexual orientation and her relationship with St Vincent publicly for the first time, saying that  it took years before she realized her true self.

Although Delevingne felt that there was  "nothing maliciouis" in the Vogue article, it became the subject of controversy as soon as it was published as writer Rob Haskell allegedly suggested that the supermodel's parents believe that her attraction to women is simply a "phase," People reported.

Delevingne's article had to face the heat on social media and an online petition was launched demanding that the publication should acknowledge that bisexuality is a way of life and does not fade away with time.

Delevingne further added that her relationship with the 32-year-old has helped her become a better actress. The model will soon be seen in her first movie, "Paper Towns," playing the role of a popular high school senior, who is popular for her adventures that includes running away to the circus and tagging with a rock band.

The movie is based on a novel by John Green. His other novel was also adapted into a movie, "The Fault In Our Stars,"which turned out to be $300 million hit worldwide,  establishing Shailene Woodley as a star.
