Google Nexus 5 (2015) Expected To Have Much Superior Features Than Its Predecessor Nexus 5 (2013)

The software giant Google has not released any information about the release date of the Nexus 5 (2015); however, many leaks have revealed almost each detail. Several reports suggest that the upcoming device will have much superior features than its predecessor Nexus 5 (2013).

Also, Jamal Eason, Product Manager of Android, said that the Android M is scheduled for this fall. According to reports, the Android M will come with Google's new device.

Display

The Nexus 5 (2013) has a 4.95-inch True HD IPS+ capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Several reports suggest that Google's upcoming smartphone will feature a 5.2-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution.

Camera

Nexus 5 (2013) has a 1.3 MP front snapper and an 8 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, The Inquirer reported. The new smartphone is expected to come with a 2 MP front snapper and a 13 MP main camera.

Battery

The LG Nexus 5 (2013) has a non-removable 2300 mAh battery while its successor is expected to be powered by 2700 mAh battery (non-removable).

Processor

The 2013 Nexus 5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 while 2015 Nexus 5 is said to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

Memory

According to reports, the Nexus 5 (2015) will come packed with 3 GB RAM. The Nexus 5 (2013) has 2 GB RAM and 16/32 GB internal memory.

It is expected that the Nexus 5 (2015) will release in October or November, according to International Business Times.
