Huawei Nexus 2015 smartphone will reportedly feature impressive specs including Quad HD display and Snapdragon 820 chip.
With a very consistent track record of spilling beans on the features of upcoming smartphones, Evan Blass tweeted that the Huawei Nexus 2015 smartphone will be coming with 5.7-inch Quad HD screen. He also revealed that the phablet will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset from Qualcomm.
The Huawei Nexus 2015 will also arrive with a metallic chassis. It will be the first ever Nexus smartphone to sport a metal body. Since the Android M OS will carry support for fingerprint reading, the Huawei Nexus 2015 will come with a fingerprint sensor, Android Central reported.
As far as the Huawei Nexus 2015 release date is concerned, the shipping of the device is expected to begin in the last quarter of this year, Blass revealed. Google has also released its Nexus smartphones in late autumn in the past. On July 14, a rumored Nexus 2015 smartphone was spotted with ground-breaking AnTuTu benchmark scores of 85,530.
Since the unreleased Snapdragon 820 chipset is expected to deliver a maximum clocking speed of up to 3 GH, the purported handset may come with the newer SoC, Phone Arena reported. Some of the forthcoming smartphones that are expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 820 chip include the Xiaomi Mi 5, the Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus, the Sony Xperia Z5 and the HTC Aero.
In June, an anonymous Huawei employee confirmed that Google is working with Huawei to build this year's Nexus smartphone. The two companies are collaborating reportedly because Google wants to help Huawei in establishing its name in the Western markets, and in return, Huawei will be helping Google in launching a Chinese version of Google's Android app store for the Chinese audience.
