Investing in a Guardian in "Destiny" may be work, but developer Bungie has assured that this is all part of the long-haul play. Fans already know about Bungie's plan to keep supporting "Destiny" in the same way that "Halo" was supported over a long period of time.

Now, Bungie had assured fans yet again, this time stating that their Guardians will be with them for the succeeding 10 years of "Destiny." It appears that the Guardians will stay regardless of expansions, as players will no need to switch or create new ones as more updates come in the future, Games Radar reported.

Engineering Lead Luke Timmins confirmed this, stating that all players have to worry about are the additions and activities that the Guardians will receive. This does not mean that players will get tired of their respective Guardians in "Destiny." Bungie promised that there will be variety in the form of weapons, gears and even new skills.

Timmins said that these additions will only serve to personalize Guardians even more. The journey, combined with additional content and updates, will continue to add to the character in various ways.

Bungie has also announced a new bounty for the week, to be held on July 29 at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm Pacific time. This will be open for Xbox One players, who will be battling the Dames of Destiny. This round of the "Destiny" bounty will give the victors a fitting reward, which is a special emblem, as seen in the official Bungie website.

Community mangers Chris "Cozmo" Shannon and David "DeeJ" Dague will be joining the Dames team in the fight.
