The "Mortal Kombat X " DLC's newest game has a few characters such as Rain, Snidel, and Fujin, that are not playable, but their mods are in the works. Netizens are starting to speculate that the developer NetherRealm Studios will add more character and hopefully release Kombat Pack 2.
After "Mortal Kombat X " DLC's initial release of which came as a Kombat Pack with a number of new characters and new costume exchanges, rumors of the sequel Kombat Pack started going around among fans of one of the best games in 2015, CrossMap reported.
Ed Boon , the President of NetherRealm Studios, seems to have the answer for this. Although he is yet to make an official announcement regarding the matter, he has already dropped some hints that are noteworthy.
Boon is actively promoting the game and interacting with fans on Twitter. In one of his posts, he used the trending topic #StraightOutta and teased the "Mortal Kombat X" fans with a little taste of the Kombat Pack 2 goodness.
The photo he tweeted was of the original Predator fighters, Tanya, Tremor, and Jason Voorhees, which included a subtle message. If you take a closer look, the ever present winky smile should be able to give it away easily. But if that is not enough, he also referred to the only existing Kombat Pack as Kombat Pack 1. Whether gamers will experience a Kombat Pack 2 remains unanswered until further notice from NetherRealm Studios. For now, fans are sufficed with Ed Boon's Twitter teases.
Tremor, final DLC character in the "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack has already been released, Design N Trend said.
