Samsung Galaxy S Series and Galaxy Note Series have been the brand's top-of-the-line phones, strategically crafted and priced for the elite market. While the current Samsung Galaxy S6 stands as the brand's flagship, the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 is deemed be ultra advance. S6 Edge Plus will also come out. Gadget lovers are now asking which one they will prefer.
S-Pen
The S-Pen is the main differentiation factor of the Galaxy Note Series. The feature sets the line apart from any other phone in the market, including the S-series. This feature can be complicated but those who are willing to learn its functions will reap its rewards. Note 5 will come out with a more exciting S-Pen.
The S-Pen is ideal for hi-tech and sophisticated individuals who use their smartphones to upgrade their performance at work. The feature is capable of innovative features such as air command, smart select, photo note, and many other powerful features.
While browsing the phone or upon opening it, air command can be accessed by hovering the S-pen on the screen. A set of quick actions is presented; action memo for penning memos that can be dragged into the home screen, smart select to copy the text highlighted by the S-Pen and paste the selection anywhere, image clip to instantly crop and paste images using the S-pen, and screen write to ink text on the screen or on images.
Photo note is a feature for cropping photos, writing on it, and marking unwanted background and colors. If the user is utilizing the camera to take down notes, the photo note attribute may be used to make the black board look flat and remove areas outside the backboard.
Voice memo is also available on S-pen.
Edge Screen
The Edge Screen is a dynamic display at the side of the phone that offers an array of innovative features that can be enjoyed. Separate from the main screen, the Edge Screen may be accessed without disrupting the view on the main screen and may be customized to contain; apps, useful quick tools such as ruler, stopwatch, timer, flashlight, and voice recorder, night clock, informative tickers for news, sports, finance, games, and hot words, and color coded contacts.
The S-series will upgrade with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. The Note Series has Galaxy Note Edge. Note 5 will not have an Edge design but its Edge counterpart may come out in the future.
