Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell are the Fantastic Four.

With Fox pushing "Fantastic Four" 2 despite of negative feedback from critics, here are some baddies that may ignite fans' excitement for the film's sequel.

The Frightful Four is another team who could have experimented on the concept of "inter-dimensional travel" in Josh Trank's film. In the comics, the government utilized the Fantastic Four to become weapons against the government's enemies. As per Cinema Blend, these adversaries of the government could use this team to counter the titular superhero team.

Annihilus is another villain who could be the worst adversary of the superhero team in the "Fantastic Four" sequel. Known to ascend from the Negative Zone, the villain was once speculated to be the prime villain in Trank's film. In November 2014, "Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn said in an interview that he could not use Annihilus in his movie due to film rights issues.

With the emergence of physics concepts like quantum realm in Peyton Reed's "Ant-Man" and astral meadow in Scott Derrickson's upcoming "Doctor Strange," "Fantastic Four 2" can also utilize the manipulation of matter with the Molecule Man. Capable of freezing, thawing, and putrefying things, the Molecule Man can be a notable threat to the Fantastic Four.

The Frightful Four, Annihilus, and the Molecule Man are viewed as potential new villains that can be included in the "Fantastic Four" sequel, in addition to anti-heroes Silver Surfer and Namor the Sub-Mariner, who were put forward by Jamie Bell and Michael B. Jordan in their previous film promotion interview with Comic Book.

Along with from Bell and Jordan, "Fantastic Four" stars Miles Teller, Kate Mara, and Toby Kebbell, among others.

Directed by Trank, "Fantastic Four" puts emphasis on the titular team's investigation of inter-dimensional travel, which in due course provided them powers that they have to control.

Trank's "Fantastic Four" is showing in theaters while "Fantastic Four 2" is set to premiere in theaters on June 9, 2017.
