Wolverine's iconic yellow costume in Bryan Singer's upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" has been unveiled.
The costume of the metal-clawed mutant can be seen in Movie Pilot. Wolverine's costume in the film is colored yellow and black, from the mask, the suit itself, and the gloves. Among the films of the "X-Men" franchise, "X-Men: Apocalypse" is the first to feature the superhero mutants in their comic book costumes.
Director Singer previously teased that his mutants are going to wear comic book-based suits in his forthcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse." With the first look at Wolverine's costume, it is assumed that the costumes of the other superheroes will be faithful to the comics.
Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past" has changed the timeline of the mutants' world, which could mean that Wolverine's yellow costume is an indication that the mutant will be serving for the United States government, as per Movie Pilot.
At the conclusion of "The Wolverine," Wolverine's iconic yellow suit was revealed during the titular superhero's departure from Japan on a reserved jet aircraft. With a "Wolverine" sequel set to be helmed by James Mangold, it would be interesting to see the superhero in his traditional yellow costume, according to Movie News Guide.

Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to hit theaters in the United States on May 27, 2016 while Mangold's untitled "Wolverine" sequel is slated to premiere in theaters on Mar. 3, 2017.
