Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four" could have been more action-packed with a reported deleted scene in its final cut.

Sources told Entertainment Weekly that the deleted scene involved a Chechen rebel camp, with some soldiers uttering a foreign language while loading up their weapons. In addition, they were filling their trucks with their gears as they prepare to move. After that, they looked up to the sky as a large object descends from it at extreme speed.

As the object approaches the grounds, it sends debris in various directions, causing the soldiers to find shelter for protection. When the soldiers walked to a large pile of orange boulders, the rocks started to move, forming arms, legs, a torso, and a head. Anxious, the soldiers fired the rock figure with their guns. The scene shows the rock figure as The Thing, revealing his immunity to bullets.

The aforementioned scene was deleted in the final cut of the film and had been replaced with the time-jump black card. It was then followed by Dr. Allen explaining to a group of military personnel how the Fantastic Four can help the man power of the United States army.

Some parts of the deleted scene were shown in previous trailers of Trank's "Fantastic Four," which helped boost the film's marketing campaign. If the dynamic scene had not been deleted, it would have definitely made the film to be more action-filled, as per Cinema Blend.

Trank's "Fantastic Four" was released on Aug. 7 while the sequel is slated to premiere in theaters on June 9, 2017.
