YouTube star Sam Rader has confessed to having been an Ashley Madison user and he claimed that his wife Nia Rader has forgiven him.
In a two-and-a-half-minute YouTube video published on Aug. 21, Friday, Sam says while Nia sits by him, "As you may have seen, my name has been associated with an Ashley Madison account. I did make the account two years ago. This is an issue that is in our past. This was before I got onto YouTube."
Sam goes on to say, "This was brought to my wife's attention. She has forgiven me for this mistake that I made in opening the account. I have sought forgiveness from God and he has forgiven me, so I have been completely cleansed of this sin."
According to Sam, he never met with anyone in person through Ashley Madison, the dating website for people seeking to have affairs.
Nia also says their marriage is worth fighting for. She explains that marriage is "the real deal and it's been sealed and it's worth fighting for, it always will be."
Sam and Nia started their YouTube stardom when their pregnancy announcement went viral. After a cyber-attack by hackers revealed Ashley Madison membership online, Sam was among those who were revealed to be clients of the cheating website.
Sam told People, "Absolutely everything is true. We're a Christian family, the last thing we would ever do is deceive our audience. We're very open with our fans."
Also revealed to have had Ashley Madison account is former "19 Kids & Counting" star Josh Duggar, who released a statement released through The Duggar Family website, saying he has been unfaithful to his wife and he has been "the biggest hypocrite ever."
