Windows Server 2016 is an upcoming server operating system developed by Microsoft as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems, developed concurrently with Windows 10.

Microsoft Office 2016's release date has been recently confirmed. The announcement came shortly after the Redmond tech giant announced its latest operating system.

Office Suite's new version will still have two flavors, which are the Home and the Professional. Although Microsoft is still polishing Microsoft Office 2016, a screenshot of announcement has confirmed that it will be on Sept. 22. BGR reported.

"On Sept. 22, 2015, we'll release Office 2016 - with updates for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Skype For Business, Project, Visio, Access and Publisher," Redmond Tech announced through WinFuture.

In addition, Redmond Tech said, "The innovative wave continues in Q2 with the release of E5 and Skype For Business and on-premise service will follow. Mark this page and check back frequently, as we will be releasing new materials, weekly to support the launch."

Microsoft, in its aim of providing further improvements in the system, will still be continuing to support previous versions of its Office Suite with regular updates as what has been stated in the announcement. Office 2016 Commercial readiness gauges, which are its marketing and training materials, are the central hub for all.

Office for Windows will incorporate colorful themes that are comparable with the Mac, Android and iOS. It is also optimized to work in tandem with Windows 10's touch accessibility feature, although it is not certain yet if Microsoft Hello will be incorporated also.

Outlook 2016 also has a long list of improvements such as attachments, search, storage footprint, and email delivery performance. Image insertion has also been improved in Word and Excel.
