The Lifetime show "Dance Moms" has been confirmed to have a new season, but there have been trending online controversies about the hit TV show.
An insider told Radar Online that "Dance Moms" show is "fake". Furthermore, the insider indicated that the competitions included on the series, in most cases, are not authentic.
"It appeared like they were going shoot it and allowed Abby Lee Miller's people win everything, and let some more people win first position occasionally in categories they lacked dancers in," the insider added.
The insider revealed that the episodes on "Dance Moms" are filmed multiple times. Probably, the best episode is the one aired on TV. At some point, the crew was compelled to shot for 12 hours because the producer kept re-filming some scenes. The crowd's responses to the performance are phony. They are not just supposed to be positive, but they are also allegedly shot separately from the competitions and dances.
The insider said, "Nobody from the show was seated with the rest of us in the audience. They would bring out Cathy's crew from Candy Apple to shot their fake reactions."
Even Maddie Ziegler's feud with other moms in the show is not true. In an interview with USA Today, Ziegler acknowledged how hard it is to shoot a reality television show that is dramatic and emotional.
Ziegler said, "You know how I said the moms do fight? The moms have to fake a fight sometimes. Thereafter they just start talking and laugh about it."
"Dance Moms" season 6 will debut on Lifetime TV in the course of 2016.
