"Dance Moms" season 5 final episode aired on Aug. 18, Tuesday and fans of the Lifetime Show are already wondering when season 6 will debut.
Season 5 finale episode titled "Reunion," saw Abby Miller tease about the next installment, but she did not confirm about her return to "Dance Moms" season 6, International Business Times reported.
In an interview with After Buzz TV, Jeff Collins who hosted the reunion episode of "Dance Moms," was reluctant to mention the exact date when the sixth installment will start production. He only hinted that the installment is very soon. Furthermore, Collins was not specific on the number of episodes to be included in the season, but did tease that it would be a huge installment.
In the interview, Collins expressed his doubt about the return of Ava Cota and her mother, Jeanette Cota. Ava and Jeanette failed to secure a permanent position on Abby's crew in the fourth season, but they gained reputation as ALDC enemies in season 5.
During the interview, Collins expressed his confidence that Ava is both a wonderful dancer and great teacher. He could not come to terms with the idea of the two missing out in season 6, but indicated that they would be readily received if they wanted to return.
Nia Sioux Frazier may make a comeback to the show in season 6 together with her mom, Holly Hatcher-Frazier. Although Nia had a difficult experience with Miller on the show, it seems the young dancer is not willing to let go her dancing career. She said she would go on pursuing all types of entertainment.
Nia would not only focus on dancing, but also diversify into other areas like singing and acting.
Kira Girard who is expecting a baby and is preparing for a wedding will beat all odds and appear in the upcoming season of the Lifetime show together with her daughter, Kalani Hilliker.
There are rumors that the Lifetime show is auditioning for new dancers as a way of maintaining growth in the industry.
