"Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell will star in the upcoming movie, "Mother's Day," alongside Julia Roberts.
According to Deadline, Mitchell will play the role of Timothy Olyphant's new wife and the stepmother to his kids with Jennifer Aniston. The character names for each of the cast members have not yet been revealed, but they have already started filming in Atlanta.
The publication noted that "Mother's Day" will also revolve around Olyphant's character's difficulty in juggling between Aniston and Mitchell's respective characters. He will also find it difficult to wish them happy Mother's Day.
Other cast members of "Mother's Day" include Jason Sudeikis, Kate Hudson, Britt Robertson, Jake Whitehall and Aasif Mandvi.
Meanwhile, Mitchell will continue to play the role of Emily Fields on "Pretty Little Liars" season 6.
In the upcoming second half of season 6B, Mitchell will be giving life to a more mature Emily. During an interview with Access Hollywood, the actress could not contain her excitement over the changes brought about by the five-year time-jump.
"We're going to be jumping ahead five years, which is actually nice. I'll be playing closer to my age. I'm out of high school, finally! We're now able to have martinis when all the girls are huddled together," she said.
In other news, the five-year time-jump will also feature Hanna's engagement. However, it is unclear whether or not it will be with her long-time boyfriend Caleb or new character Jordan. A wedding will also be part of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6B.
"Pretty Little Liars" season 6B will premiere on ABC Family this winter.
