'Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain' Update: Mobile Companion App For In-Game Maps, Air Support, Music Streaming Goes Live For PS3, PS4, Xbox One

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is an open world action-adventure stealth game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" has a mobile companion app that can be used to call for air support, listen to any music featured and to look for in-game maps during the game.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" app features the game functionality of "Ground Zeroes" and works with Xbox One, PS4 and PS3. However, the app is not available on the Xbox 360 or PC / Steam.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" iOS version does not also work with the Xbox One, Konami reported.  The only supported OS mobile are iOS 8.0 or higher and Android 4.0 or higher. More details about the mobile companion app are shared on Konami's official site.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" extra content "Kingdom of the Flies," is not included in the collector's issue, VG24/7 reported. However, the issue comes with Blu-ray disc with behind-the-scenes footage, trailers, and story episode that was removed.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" also bring forth Silent Hills project and mentioned that the game is not forgotten by Kojima Productions. It also referred to a cassette player which is found in a tent at the Nqumba Industial Zone, which is located in Angola-Zaire Border. If activated, the player will show the same news report looped in Playable Teaser. The YouTube video from the said game also showed a frightening report of a murder which can be heard from the radio news.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" was released worldwide for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC/Steam.
