'Forza Motorsport 6' to Include Premium Cars, Fresh Tracks Plus New Mods

Ford GT will be the cover of "Forza Motorsport 6."

The upcoming racing video game titled "Forza Motorsport 6" will be including new sports cars and cutting-edge racing tracks for its latest installment. The developer also revealed other game updates like new "Mods."

According to IGN, the racing video game will be adding brand new usable cars such as the 1967 Eagle-Weslake T1G; the 1969 #21 Nissan Racing R382; and the 1993 #3 Peugeot Talbot Sport 905 EVO 1C.

Aside from the said brand new racing cars, there were also other vehicles confirmed to be included in the line-up of "Forza Motorsport 6" such as the 1970 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1; the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona HEMI; the 1975 BMW #93 Herve Poulain 3.0 CSL; the 1982 Ferrari #72 N.A.R.T. 512 BB/LM; the 2003 Ferrari Challenge Stradale; the 2011 Peugeot #10 Matmut 908; and the 2014 McLaren #60 Bhaitech 12C GT3.

In addition, the racing video game is expected to feature cars from notable brands like Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bugatti, Ford, Formula, Honda, Jaguar, Jeep and Lamborghini. Overall, the racing car line-up of "Forza Motorsport 6" will consist of 450 models.

In terms of the available racing tracks, Turn 10, the game's developer, revealed that it will include Bernese Alps, Circuit de Catalunya, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Long Beach, Circuit de Prague, Test Track Airfield, Road Atlanta, Long Beach, Yas Marina Circuit, Brands Hatch and others. To sum it up, there will be 26 available locations with 100 routes for the latest racing video game.

According to gtplanet,to further enhance the game, developers also added new "Mods" which is expected to bring new depth, challenge and fun to free play races and career game modes.

First, the "Dare Mods" will give unique challenges to gamers because they have to race under difficult situations like decreased engine power. On the other hand, "Crew Mods" will give the player some certain boost during the race.

For example, the gamer will have a 7 percent decrease in weight and 3 percent increase in grip if ever the player achieves the "Chassis Expert." Lastly, the "Boost Mods" will give the racer a specific advantage once a  successful performance has been accomplished.

Meanwhile, the multiplayer mode in the upcoming racing video game will allow 24 players to battle in a single race competition.

Turn 10's latest video game is the sixth installment of the "Forza Motorsport" series. Its first game was launched in 2005 and has since gained a reputation as a rival to PlayStation's "Gran Turismo" series.

"Forza Motorsport 6," which is exclusive for Xbox One, will be released on Sept. 15 in North America, Sept. 17 in Japan, and Sept. 18 in Europe.
