World-famous rapper Kanye West is also reality TV star Kim Kardashian's husband.

When rapper Kanye West announced his plans to run for the 2020's presidential elections, little did he know that he will have fans to support him so soon. American rapper O'Shea Jackson, better known by his stage name Ice Cube, said he will vote for the "Yeezus" rapper.

"I'm voting for Kanye. Why not?" Ice Cube told Mail Online in a recent interview. "Who's better than Kanye to run?" The website also asked him about his own plans for joining politics but the singer denied it saying he is "not into politics like that."

However, the rapper was quite confident of his choice of West as president and said he is all for helping his people "get over the hump."

Ice Cube is not the only person who supports West's decision to stand for the presidential elections in 2020. Singer Taylor Swift showed her support to West discreetly with 'KanTay2020' hashtag on her Instagram post. The "Bad Blood" singer posted a picture of beautiful white roses, which were sent to her by West after her MTV Video Music Awards win. She shared the picture on social media along with #KanTay2020.

According to Vanity Fair magazine, Swift's hashtag symbolizes that she wants to be "Kanye West's Vice President in her wildest dreams."

The "FourFiveSeconds" rapper shocked everybody with his plans to be the President of United States when he went onstage to accept his Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs on Aug. 30.

The rapper talked about his previous encounter with Swift and concluded his speech by the following line: "And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president."
