"The Originals" season 3 cast members Phoebe Tonkin and Leah Pipes recently opened up about the famous Hayley-Cami storyline on The CW series.
In an interview with TV Line, Tonkin said that her character Cami felt betrayed after Klaus did not kiss her in the season 2 finale episode. With this, Cami will return to season 3 with a decision to make, especially when it comes to her relationship with Klaus.
"It was kind of embarrassing. I think she was really ready for them to have their first kiss, but then he totally ditched. I mean, bailed. Just walked right out of the room," she said.
Meanwhile, Pipes also spoke about her character Hayley and her relationship with Klaus.
In the upcoming third season, Hayley will continue to find it difficult to forgive Klaus for missing a lot of events and milestones in their daughter's life. These moments will reportedly bring out confrontations in season 3.
In other news, Tonkin and Pipes talked about their character's relationship with one another.
Tonkin said that Cami and Hayley will have few scenes together while the curse is still in effect. This does not mean though that they will lose their human connection.
Pipes added, "There's not much Cami can do except to shake her finger angrily at Klaus, which has not been so successful in seasons past."
"The Originals" season 3 will also focus on the Mikaelsons and the trials and issues that they have to face, according to Design N Trend.
"The Originals" season 3 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. ET.
