Sony is now rolling out the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update to Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra.

The electronics maker Sony is now rolling out the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update to Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra.

According to Xperia Blog, the new Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (build number: 19.4.A.0.182) has been made available to Xperia C3 series, both the dual-SIM and single-SIM models in all regions across the world.

The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (build number: 19.4.A.0.182) has also been available for the T2 Ultra and its Dual SIM variant. Reports suggest that the T2 Ultra Dual model D5322 and T2 Ultra LTE models, such as D5306 and D5303, have got the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update.

Users receiving the update notifications should choose 'Yes, Download' option. Then, choose 'Install now.' Their device will restart automatically and the operating system will be updated to the latest version.

It is important to note that the roll-out process is carried out in stages, therefore, it will take some time to reach all users. If you want, you can check for the update manually by heading to - Settings >> About phone >> System update >> Check Now.

The Android 5.1.1 update brings extra customization options such silent modes, enhanced enterprise support and camera improvements with superior auto-mode focus.

With the release of latest Android update to Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra, Sony is left with few devices to release the Android 5.1.1 update to finish the whole roll-out process. Xperia M2 Aqua, Xperia M2, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z1 are next in queue to get the new Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update.
