Amid their bliss having their first child, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who married in 2012, had a shocking experience that involved their daughter. The husband of the "Gossip Girl" alum recently revealed that one of his friends tried to make money out of their daughter's pictures.
In a recent interview with GQ, Reynolds said, "A guy that I'd known for my whole life, one of my closest friends growing up, he had been shopping pictures of my baby around. I kind of got in front of it, which is good."
Reynolds described that time "a slightly dark period" and "a bad couple of weeks." He added that the experience was shocking and it was "like death" and "one of those devastating things to find out."
"I mean, I don't think he thought he would ever be caught," Reynolds said explaining why it was not difficult for him to find out who was peddling their baby's photos. He said there is only a "pretty narrow group of people" that he would send his baby's photos to and they are his closest family and friends.
The "Deadpool" actor did not mention the name of the said friend who tried to sell his baby's photos. It was not clear if there legal actions done but he implied that he simply cut off the friend from his life.
Lively gave birth to their daughter near their home in Bedford, N.Y., in December. The baby arrived earlier than expected but she and the "Gossip Girl" alum were both healthy and doing well after the delivery, according to Page Six.
