Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt are parents to six children.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are set to adopt a new kid into their eight-membered family. The show-business' humanitarian couple is reported to have made up their mind to bring home a boy from Syria.

Recent reports stated that the couple has zeroed down on an orphan boy whom the actress have met on one of her solo visits to the war-torn country. The boy had been separated from his father who was taken away by Syrian soldiers while his mother had died in a bomb blast.

The boy was living with his two other brothers when Jolie got a chance to meet them. The middle one knew some English while the older one was exceptionally quiet and constantly remained with the star during her visit, an insider told Radar Online.

The detail of the boy whom the couple has chosen to adopt is not yet known.

The actress reportedly wanted to bring all the three boys to her household, but was met with vehement disapproval from Pitt, who argued that bringing three new kids might have an adverse affect on their six children.

The couple is said to have initiated the paperwork, though, it is likely to take at least another four to five months before the boy can be brought to the U.S.

Brangelina, as lovingly called by their fans, are already parents to three biological children, including Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, and three adopted ones, Maddox,13, from Cambodia, Pax, 11, from Vietnam, and Ethiopian Zahara, 10.

Jolie's role as special envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees has made the actress got in touch with the war torn nation and the plight of its people.

Meanwhile the actress is rumored to be seen in "Fast And Furious 8" playing the role of a villain, News Everyday reported.
