It is also rumored that Angelina Jolie and Dame Helen Mirren are being considered to join the "Fast and Furious 8" cast and lift the entire story line up a notch.
According to ET Online, Michelle Rodriguez seemed happy with the idea of Angelina Jolie joining the cast. She said that, "That would be sexy." She also added that, "We've definitely got to bring up the ante, man. Whoever it is -- it has to be a powerful presence that hasn't been seen before."
On the other hand, Dame Helen Mirren is also interested in being a part of the cast. In another interview to ET Online, Mirren said that, "I've always wanted to be in a Fast and Furious movie but they've never asked me." Mirren added, "I don't understand why!"
In a jestful tone, she also quipped, "Vin, get your act together!"
The casting rumors for the up coming installment of "Fast and Furious" keep on increasing every day. Earlier last month, it was rumored that Ruby Rose of the "Orange is the new Black" fame will be joining the cast of this movie.
Recently, many rumors say that Eva Mendes might do a come back and join Dominic's gang. She is rumored to revive the role of US Agent for Customs Monica Fuentes. It is further rumored that she will team up with Dominic and Hobbs to fight off the new villain from New York, Mr. Nobody. It is also rumored that James Wan will be a part of this movie.
Vin Diesel confirmed that that most of the movie's shooting will take place in New York. The character of Kurt Russell in the movie is based out of New York.
Jason Statham will also be back in this part of movie series. His character took off in the previous movie itself, making Statham proud to be associated with such a popular cast and movie. He will be playing the role of Deckard Shaw. It might happen that Shaw breaks from the jail and Hobbs is forced to lock him up again.
