Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ has a superb flagship design and overall performance that tech fans place it at par with Apple's iPhone 6S. However, like its predecessor, it suffers from poor battery life.

Superb Design

Like its predecessor, S6 Edge+ features a screen that extends to both sides and with curved edges. Tech fans lauded the unique design innovation in the S6 Edge, but they wanted a larger phone with a wider screen, thus the upgrade in the S6 Edge+, according to Forbes.

It is the best phone to date when it comes to display - even better than an iPhone, tech enthusiasts believe. It is currently available in black, silver, white and gold.

Innovative Edge

Aside from its contribution to aesthetics, the edges are capable of quick-launching apps and accessing favorite contacts. Users, for instance, can identify the caller by the assigned color, which pulses on the edge in case of an incoming call.

While some argue that the edge screens have little to offer, others think it is innovative enough for a smartphone of its kind. Tech fans hope that its successor, if any, would have more features on the edge screens.

Excellent Camera

Another positive feedback for the S6 Edge+ is the excellent camera. Samsung stuck with its usual 16-megapixel shooter, and users are happy about this, Tech Radar said. iPhone 6S, in contrast, has just upgraded to 12 megapixels from 8.

Excellent Battery

Despite the delightful specs, S6 Edge+ features an excellent battery performance, which is also seen in the S6 Edge. Some users tried decreasing display brightness, and it helped them save battery life. It charges fast enough, though.

According to tech enthusiasts, its overall performance is good, and considering the positive points, it does compete with the iPhone 6S, if it is not ahead of it already.
