The latest high-end smartphones from Samsung, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus provide users with different experiences despite having similar specs on paper.
While the Note 5, which is large and powerful enough to function as a phone, tablet, or even a computer, continues the Samsung Note line-up, S6 Edge Plus moves the "edge" franchise into the luxury Smartphone market.
According to Ars Technica, these two Android Smartphones beat the iPhone in terms of camera supremacy and have the curved screen edge to display photos better than any other phone.
From the interior perspective, the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ possess a similar powerful processor and large RAM capacity, The Sidney Morning Herald reported. External features of the two gadgets reveal that they both have a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen. Similarly, the two smartphones have a curved body - the S6 Edge+ is curved on the front for beauty while the Note 5 is curved at the back to allow for battery grip.
Both smartphones come with huge batteries that can run for more than a day on high use. The Note 5 and Edge Plus support fast charging, as well, getting a dead battery fully charged within 90 minutes.
Samsung galaxy Note 5 has the S Pen, a sharp-pointed stylus that supports digital note taking. It is a unique experience with the note-taking application launching immediately the user removes the S Pen from its embedded holder. The S Pen is functional even when the phone screen is locked, allowing for intrusive note-taking experience as fast as possible.
Furthermore, the Note 5 ships with preloaded Microsoft Office suite and Acrobat. Running these apps are the 4GB RAM and an octa-core 64-bit processor. Most significantly the two smartphones support the latest 4G technology, assuring mobile internet of up to 450mbps (20 times faster than a home ADSL network).
