Moto DROID Turbo users may receive the new Android M Marshmallow OS update as Motorola reportedly send out invites for a soak test.

According to Droid Life, Motorola are rolling out the invites to Moto DROID Turbo owners for a soak test. The complete details of the soak were not revealed, but the report claimed that the soak test is for the Stagefright patch update as the bug has been a nuisance to many Android-based users.

Previous reports claimed that Moto DROID Turbo will get the upcoming Android 6.0 in December. This is followed by rumors saying that the update will arrive early next year around January and February 2016 as the upcoming DROID Turbo 2 will be the first in line to receive the new Android OS and its predecessor may get the software update early next year, although Motorola offered no confirmation for this yet..

Meanwhile, new rumors are emerging pertaining to the upcoming successor of the Moto DROID Turbo. According to WCCF Tech, Moto DROID Turbo 2015 will pack a 5.43-inch shatterproof display with 1440 by 2560 Quad HD resolution, octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and Adreno 430 chip, 3GB of RAM, and 3760mAh battery capacity. Other features of Moto DROID 2 are 21-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front facing cameras and 32GB and 64GB of internal storage.

Moto DROID Turbo 2015, also dubbed as Moto X Force, release will arrive next month in the United States. The smartphone will be available exclusively at Verizon Wireless. A tipster from @upleaks claimed that the handset is confirmed to be released in United Kingdom and China.
