Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 3 seems to establish its uniqueness among its predecessors.
According to Comic Book, Season 3's premiere episode, which was entitled "Laws of Nature," has set a style that completely left the obscurities in the previous seasons of the series. Daisy Johnson's role, for instance, has been magnified in the series. She is now working to welcome the Inhumans, which transcends from her character's complicated nature in Season 2.
Meanwhile, Episode 1 "Laws of Nature" started off with Joey Gutierrez being able to enhance some metal-melting powers. He was saved from the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents from the aggressive organization named Advanced Threat Containment Unit (ATCU).
Agent Johnson also explained to Gutierrez his origins as an Inhuman, as it was prompted by the exposure to a compound called Terrigen. However, Johnson found it challenging so she sought help from Lincoln Campell. According to TV Line, Campell sees his abilities as a curse, so he is strong-minded to shift his gear to living a normal life.
Meanwhile, Phil Coulson found the head of the ATCU, Rosalind Price, and from that point, they learned that there was another party that was interested in new Inhumans - Lash. The monstrous Inhuman attacked Coulson and Price, who managed to escape following the arrival of the ATCU. After the incident, the President declared that the ATCU is now the replacement of the secretive S.H.I.E.L.D.
Agent Leo Fitz obtains an ancient Hebrew scroll unfolding the Kree Monolith that got his partner Jemma Simmons as "Death." Upon knowing the information, Fitz found it hard to accept. For the time being, Simmons is on a deserted alien locale.
Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 3 Episode 2 is entitled "Purpose in the Machine." Directed by Kevin Tancharoen, it is slated to be aired on the ABC Television Network on Oct. 6.
