GAMER ALERT! PlayStation Plus Reveals Free Games for October

October has just gotten better for PlayStation Plus users with the release of new free games available this month for download.

According to PlayStation blog, there will be six free games that users will enjoy namely "Super Meat Boy" (PS4/PS Vita), "Broken Age" (PS4/PS Vita), "Unmechanical: Extended" (PS4/PS3), "KickBeat" (PS4/PS3), "Kung Fu Rabbit" (PS4/PS3), and "Chariot" (PS3).

"Super Meat Boy" is full of challenging levels, mind-boggling obstacles, unpredictable traps, and tons of grinning with huge chunks of meat.

IGN did a review on "Super Meat Boy" and said that it is an extremely difficult game but one of the best modern platformers you'll ever see. It's every bit thrilling, frustrating, and surprisingly delightful.

"Broken Age," on the other hand, is for gamers who are into the adventure genre. It's a point-and-click game revolving around two teenagers who are in different worlds but are involved in the same situations. The game is packed with jokes, which makes it all the more enjoyable.

"Unmechanical: Extended" is for those of you who love puzzles and adventure as these two elements are forged very well in the game. There's a lot of puzzle solving and requires out-of-the-box thinking.

"KickBeat" is a martial arts-themed rhythm game that allows users to fight their way through different songs and musical genres. It's a fluid game with sleek and quick action moves that makes it a joy to play.

Meanwhile, "Kung Fu Rabbit" is another platformer that involves the survival of the rabbits' temple. With lots of trophies to win, carrots to eat, and Universal Evil to defeat, this game is truly entertaining.

Last on the list is "Chariot" is a physics-based platformer wherein a princess and her fiancé carries the king's coffin aka the funeral chariot as they navigate 25 levels of ancient caverns.

The games are set to be available for download on October 6.
