IO Interactive has finally announced the release date of the latest "Hitman" game that will soon be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Users can start showing off their marksman skills on March 11, 2016, when the new "Hitman" becomes available digitally, according to IGN.
Square Enix said that the launch will be a live game experience that will continuously deliver content and supported by live events.
When the initial content is launched on March 11, gamers can choose from six missions in three different locations - Paris, Sapienza, and Marrakesh.
If you're on Contracts mode, there are 800 targets you can choose from as your create your own contract. Talk about having a personal hit list!
According to Gamespot, IO will release new locations monthly following the March release.
Get ready to go to Thailand on April, the United States on May, and Japan on June. If you've once dreamed of becoming a global assassin then "Hitman" will fulfill that for you.
The digital release of the video game retails at $59.99 inclusive everything--access to live events, new content, and a guaranteed spot on "Hitman" beta which will only be available in PlayStation 4 and PC at no added cost.
Another version called Intro Pack retails at $34.99 which includes the March content, contracts, and live events. To access everything else, you can purchase the upgrade at $29.99.
A disc is also set to be released on 2016 although the final date hasn't been confirmed yet. Most likely it will be after the digital launch.
The new "Hitman" was originally slated for December but was moved to next year. IO said that the few extra months have allowed them to come up with more content, tighter frequency updates, and an overall better game for users.
