'Persona 5' Rumors: Different Storylines For Each Characters Added; Names Of The Persona Summons Revealed! [VIDEO]

Persona 5 is an upcoming JRPG being developed by Atlus for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 console.

New "Persona 5" details will have multiple storylines for each character in the game, as well as the names of the different Persona summons.

Atlus revealed new information regarding the different Persona summons of each character in "Persona 5". The unnamed protagonist in the game will be partnered by Arsene, an Angel like being wearing a black mask and has a pair of balck wings. Ryuji Sakomoto's persona is Captain Kidd, a pirate ghost wearing a cannon as a prosthetic arm, while Ann Takamaki's persona is Carmen, an elegant looking summon with a pink dress equipped with a rose whip and pair butlers wearing heart-shaped heads.

Morgana is partnered with Zorro, a powerful warrior named after legendary swordsman and Yusuke Kitagawa has Goemon, a persona equipped with long pipe and is said to modeled after a legendary thief, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.

Atlus stated that characters can obtain their persona summons under a process known called "Awakening" as they are being engulfed in blue flames and their personalities will be drastically altered making them a different person rather than themselves. Gamers can summon them during battles and will have different magical attacks.

In other news, "Persona 5" will likely explore different character storylines. Unlike the previous titles like "Persona 3" and Persona 4" were in gamers explore the main heroes point of view, "Persona 5" will branch out its plots from different characters exploring their side of things and making the protaginist the central point of each scenario, The Christian Post reported.

The game's plot line will center on the protagonist and his friends as phantom thieves trying to steal the corrupt hearts of their targets and make them confess to their own crimes in order to save the world from its darkness. Gamers will experience life as both student in the real world and phantom thief in another within the game.

"Persona 5" was originally scheduled to be release this year for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles, but Atlus announced that the game will launch in the summer 2016 in Japan and sometime in 2016 in the United States.
