At the MIP Junior Conference 2015, Hasbro's Stephen J. Davis revealed that "Transformers" 5, 6, 7, and 8 are currently being developed by the company.

Davis, Chief Content Officer and Executive Vice President at Hasbro, Inc., was at the event during a keynote Q & A where he made public the company's plans for the Transformers movie franchise.

The story was reported by TFW2005 where the Q & A video surfaced in one of their recent posts. In the video, Davis confirms that "Transformers 5" is being developed with the other films to follow suit.

Also during the Q & A, he said that Hasbro, Paramount, and director Michael Bay together with their other partners are working on the upcoming film.

Davis also says that the next 10 years of the Transformers are already set, thanks to the three months of work that their pool of very creative writers had done.

A Transformers Writers' Room had been created to develop story ideas for the future of the live-action movie franchise featuring the Autobots and the Decepticons.

Led by Academy Award-winning writer/director Akiva Goldsman, the Writers' Room is composed of Robert Kirkman, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, Zak Penn, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Jeff Pinkner, Steve DeKnight, Ken Nolan, Christina Hodson, and Lindsey Beer.

Along with the Transformers 5, 6, 7, and 8 announcement, Davis added that "Transformers: Robots In Disguise" will be continuing the story from "Transformers: Prime."

However, the studio has gotten feedback from viewers of "Transformers: Prime," which prompted content changes in "Transformers: Robots in Disguise."
