New details for "No Man's Sky" have been revealed regarding a new gameplay demo and possible launch date of the game alongside "Project Morpheus."
Hello Games developer Sean Murray revealed a new gameplay demo for "No Man's Sky" during his appearance in "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," alongside YouTube commentator PewDiePie. Many gamers have speculated that Murray's appearance and the new gameplay demo suggest that "No Man's Sky's" launch date could be announced during the show, but unfortunately Murray stated that release date for the game is still a big secret, Gamerant reported.
Still, the new game demo features five new planets, creatures and several new raw materials that they can use to upgrade weapons, gears and even their ships. Murray even featured a new "Pokedex" gadget that enables gamers to name and brand the different alien animals they have discovered in a planet.
New planets have also appeared in the game such as Nardrisk, Loyk, Teogicia, Flettia and Faey-Dahyrn. Nardisk looks to be planet that is somewhat polluted due to the many mist surrounding the area. Loyk is a green and natural planet housing many alien animals in each field. Teogicia is a snowy planet which inhabitant ny dinosaur like mamals and robot sentinels. Flettia is planet similar to a rain forest and Faey-Dahyrn planet that features several islands and underwater exploration.
"No Man's Sky" will feature over 18 quintillions planets in several solar systems and gamers will have an infinite time exploring not just other planets, but different in galaxies making hard for players to finish the game early.
Although Murray did not say "No Man's Sky's" launch date, it is rumored that the game could be released sometime in 2016 alongside Sony's latest hardware the PlayStation VR/Project Morpheus, Moviepilot reported. The reason for the 2016 launch was that Hello Games wanted "No Man's Sky" to be "perfect" as many gamers have been eagerly anticipated the game since its introduction in E3 2014.
"No Man's Sky" will be available in 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
