According to latest reports, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, Wii U will get the new update pretty soon.
Last week, the video game company Nintendo released a software update for Super Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U. The update introduced many balance changes and support for DLC packs like new Mii Fighter costumes and new stages for the two versions of the game.

The company will bring both versions of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U to version 1.1.2. At present, fix for the Diddy Kong glitch has been confirmed for the latest update. The patch notes state that the update will be essential for online play and that replays recorded with the version 1.1.1 will not be compatible with the new version, Event Hubs reported.
On Nintendo 3DS, the update will need at 262MB of free space on a user's SD Card. On Wii U, the update needs 60MB of free space if users have the newest version of the game (1.1.1), 2.3GB if they have never downloaded any update after buying the game.
