'"Star Wars Battlefront" 2015 will feature Luke Skywalker in a new gameplay and the full specs and requirements for the PC version of the game.
A new gameplay video for "Star Wars Battlefront" was posted by YouTube user Westie, which gives viewers a preview of all of Luke Skywalker's abilities within the game. The gameplay is set on the planet Hoth as Westie came across a hero power up item, giving him the option playing as Luke, Gamerant reported.
Players as Luke Skywalker can have access to all of his Jedi abilities such as Force jump, Force Push and the Saber Rush as senior producer Jamie Keen stated that gamers can only control any iconic character for just a limited amount of time as the health meter is slowly depleting during the course of the game session. Gamers can extend their time playing as their favorite Star Wars hero or villain by killing every enemy unit or any other hero they can find.
So far, only Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and Boba Fett are the only playable characters within "Star Wars Battlefront" as other characters such as Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Starkiller and many more are rumored to join the roster.
In other news, the full system requirements and specs for "Star Wars Battlefront" for the PC have been revealed.
The minimum requirements include 64-bit Windows 7 or a new version of the software, a i3 intel processor or an equivalent of it, 8GB of RAM, atleast 40GB of hard drive space, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB, an ATI Radeon HD 7850 2GB graphic card, a DirectX 11.0 video card and a fast internet connection of atleast 512 KBPS.
For the recommended requirements, PC users would need to have a Windows 10, an Intel 15 6600 processor and 16GB of RAM. They must have a hard drive space of 40GB and two graphic cards: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB and AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB. The video card should be a DirectX: 11.1 or higher and an internet speed of 512 KBPS.
Certainly good news to PC users, but many users felt that the recommended requirements are a bit too high for the game. Luckily, someone from Digital Foundry was able reveal new information regarding the specs for low-end PCs, Eurogamer reported.
According to the report, a multi-core support for CPU is a lock and in stress testing, meaning it could hold its own as a i7 4790 processor with only 8GB RAM, and an AMD R9 290X can be used given that the game requires 16GB RAM. The game was able to run above 60fps at 80fps even with a v-sync and the AMD R9 290X card was more than capable to handle the game.
"Star Wars Battlefront" will be release on Nov. 17 for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
