'StarCraft 2: Legacy Of The Void' Update: Patch 3.0 To Add New Interface For The Game; Prologue Campaign Now Available For Free [VIDEOS]

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void is the third expansion of the StarCraft 2 trilogy developed by Blizzard Entertainment and It will be launch on Nov. 10, 2015.

"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void will have a new interface in its latest patch update and prologue campaign missions are now free to play by PC users.

Blizzard Entertainment announce several new changes for "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void's" patch 3.0 update with a new game interface and launch a new trailer to further elaborate the many features within the patch update, Gamespot reported.

According to the video, the many changes in the patch 3.0 would be the user interface within "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" as gamers will notice the visual features such 3D characters and sliding effects in the navigation menu. Blizzard brought back the old campaign selection screen that was present in the first "StarCraft" game and its expansion, "The Brood Wars," in addition, the navigation selection is now on the upper left side corner of their screens containing sub-options and pages for players to go around and view.

Several gaming fans within the game's community requested to have a more social impact for "Legacy of the Void" and Blizzard presented a chat system features in the UI which allows the gamers to socialize with other players inside a room or across other countries around the world. The maximum number of players that can be atleast 100 to 200 players in the chat system.

Players can extend and pin chats for online conversations and view other players that are online within "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" similar to social media chat sites. Players can also open multiple windows in the interface and add new members by typing in "/join . If players cannot find the channel they will have to make a custom channel to add players in the chat room.

Blizzard will also remind gamers of what they have missed during conversations ot messages that were not read by player or other people.

The new patch 3.0 will have two arcade categories: Join and Browse. Join allows gamers will have several games that are available in the lobby and quickly join them for a random quick game, while Browse will have all of the details of the open games that are present in the lobby in order learn more about them.

In other news, Blizzard released that the prologue campaign missions for "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" for free. The move was made in order to hype PC gamers in anticipation for "Legacy of the Void's" launch date next week, Gamerant reported.

The game's prologue mission titled "The Whispers of Oblivion" will serve as a bridge between the events of the second expansion, "Heart of Swarm" and the beginning of third expansion.

"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" will launch on November 10 for the PC.
