New "Sword Art Online: Lost Song" details reveal character creations and multiplayer gameplay, as well as the announcement of a new "SAO" video game for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
Bandai Namco has revealed a new trailer for "Sword Art Online: Lost Song" which showcases character creation and multiplayer actions, Siliconera reported. Gamers can create there own character based class and race from the ALfheim video game as players can choose from nine different races: Undine, Sylph, Caith Sith, Gnome, Imp, Leprechaun, Pooka, Salamander and Spriggan.
Aside from the character creation, "SAO: Lost Song" will also feature different online multiplayer gameplay as gamers can form a four-player co-op during quest or fight in Battle Arena in a four-on-four team death match.
"Sword Art Online: Lost Song" is set on the fictional world of ALfheim, an MMORPG video game and the successor to "Sword Art Online" as Kirito and his friends embark on a new adventure in the video game world. Gamers will have the liberty to play as Kirito once more, but unlike previous games gamers can also control other characters such as Asuna, Sinon, Leafa, Klein etc. There are also new faces in "SAO: Lost Song" like Sumeragi, Seven and Rain.
In other news, Bandai Namco and Dengeki Bunko announced a new Sword Art Online video game called "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" for PS4 and PS VIta along with its trailer during the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival, AnimeNewsNetwork reported.
Game developer Yosuke Fotami and "Aquaria" producer Satoshi Hirayae stated in an interview that "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" was made when they played with the idea that players can play Kirito at level 1 and it takes place in the early stages of Sword Art Online video game within the anime.
Hirayae added that gameplay will be based on skill pallete and a number of managements that players are allowed to direct their part members in action. One of its main features is how these action and management elements can coexist within the game and players are allowed to bring three people in a party. Bandai Namco revealed that "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will launch sometime next year.
"Sword Art Online: Lost Song" will launch on Nov. 13 in Europe and Nov. 17 in the United States for the PS4 and PS Vita.
