Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj Now BFFs? 'Bad Blood' Singer Learns Important Lesson On Getting Into Tiff With Fellow Artist

Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj are all smiles when they teamed up to perform onstage during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

"Bad Blood" singer Taylor Swift stated that her recent Twitter squabble with "Anaconda" rapper Nicki Minaj imparted an important lesson in 2015 that people can learn from.

Though Swift would rather not talk about it, the Billboard-topping artist said in an interview with NME magazine that in future scenarios where misunderstandings arise, she would approach the other party's management and text them, rather than expressing it all online.

The clash of the two singers occurred after Minaj tweeted in July that one is up for a Video of the Year nomination if the video "celebrates women with very slim bodies."

Thinking the tweet referred to her "Bad Blood" video, Swift retorted that she has done nothing but give Minaj her love and support, then cited that maybe one of the male nominees got her slot.

Minaj snapped back at Taylor that she was referring to her, and the latter ended up saying that if she wins, her rapper-friend can come up the stage with her, or practically any stage she will set foot on.

The two singing superstars took no time to mend fences, but only after stirring up reactions from fellow artists and garnering social media outrage.

One social media user decried the statement made by Minaj and tweeted a quote that "thin shaming can be just as hurtful as fat shaming." Another one mentioned that body shaming, just like racism, is bad.

Swift and Minaj have immediately resolved their issues and let bygones be bygones. There seems to be no bitterness nor hatred left in their hearts, E! News reported. The two artists even teamed up for an opening number at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

While Swift romped away with the Video of the Year plum award (for "Bad Blood") at the MTV Video Music Awards, Minaj was not left empty-handed, as she got the Best Hip Hop Video award for "Anaconda."

Music, indeed, cools hot heads and brings people closer.
