Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's huge patch (1.10) has started rolling out

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's huge patch (1.10) has started rolling out. It is the largest update in the game to date so far.

The new patch 1.10 packs 600 changes, 150 stability improvements to resolve hiccups, additional conversations with key characters that will enhance a player's relationships with them and the story as a whole and fixes for loads of quests, WCCFtech reported.

It fixes crashes happening on hardware configurations incorporating AMD Radeon R9 285 cards. Plus, it addresses a GeForce GTX 980 specific crash issue. Game freeze issues happening when gamers alt-tab out of the game in fullscreen mode have been fixed.

Momot of CD Projekt Red said that the huge update will take 6 GB to 15 GB of storage space for PC gamers and 15 GB of hard drive space for consoles.

However, according to latest reports, some players observed a serious performance drop in the frame-rate department after installing the new patch.
Fortunately, a working fix for the performance problem after installing the new patch has been found. Gamers have to delete or rename d3d11.dll file. Gamers who do not know where the file is should search their 'Witcher 3 installation folder\bin\x64.'

However, If a gamer's version is the steam one then it may not work as steam owners do not have the same DLL, the DLL should be on a player's Witcher 3 installation folder\bin\x64.

In other news, Hearts of Stone, the game's first expansion, will release tomorrow. Hearts of Stone will introduce unique romance, strong monsters and new characters and will feature 10 hours of new adventures, according to Vine Report.
