Microsoft finally revealed the gameplay trailer of "Halo 5: Guardians."

A couple of weeks before its official release, Microsoft finally revealed "Halo 5: Guardians" gameplay trailer.

According to Gamespot, the trailer has a sci-fi cinematic feel. The trailer also featured the dramatic side of the story which made it more relatable. Accompanied by an old Muse song in the background, the clip featured the relationship between Master Chief and Spartan Locke.

The franchise has circulated around Master Chief, but this version will be focusing on Spartan Locke. Though this was an unexpected move, Master Chief's going rogue just made the storyline a lot more interesting. Now, Locke was tasked to bring Master Chief in and it will be a grave battle of the legend and the new hero.

The trailer also made sure to highlight the bigger issues of the game. In the video, they showed the galaxy facing mass destruction from an unknown entity.

In an interview with Forbes, "Halo" franchise development director Frank O'Connor said that gamers can expect a lot of surprises in the game.

The interview also included "Halo 5" executive producer Josh Holmes who said that the "Halo" franchise will never be the same after this game ends.

"One of the things that's most exciting about this story is through the course of your journey in Halo 5, you're going to see the Halo galaxy change in really important ways and it will never be the same," Holmes said. "On a truly galactic scale, things are transformed through the course of the story."

"Halo 5" will be launched exclusively for Xbox One on Oct. 27.
