Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy got married on Oct. 8, with their marriage seen as a coming together of two successful investors.

Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming and Hong Kong superstar Angelababy married each other on Oct. 8 in a fairytale-themed wedding that marked the union of two successful investors.

Huang established venture capital company Star VC in 2014, along with Li Bingbing and Ren Quan. In June this year, Angelababy put up her own venture capital company, AB Capital.

With both entertainment personalities involved in business and investments, the marriage has opened the doors to numerous business opportunities.

According to PEdaily.cn, a financial news website, Huang earned a lot of money by making investments in red wine and Huayi Brothers Media Corp.

Huang signed with Huayi Brothers in April 2007, and bought 1.8 million shares worth 3 yuan each in 2008. He became a billionaire in 2009 when Huayi Brothers went public.

Huang also opened his own film studio and film distribution business in 2010. He has also opened a golf club with Eric Woo and Eric Tsang.

Huang was ranked fifth by Forbes magazine on the China Celebrity List in 2015, marking his 11th consecutive appearance on the list. He has an annual income of 79 million yuan.

Meanwhile, Angelababy has also been successful at investment and business, aside from her entertainment career, which covers acting, singing and modeling.

Angelababy owns three branches of her own "babycafe" in Hong Kong and a beauty salon in Causeway Bay.

With her new venture in AB Capital, Angelababy plans to develop a sales network for startups that cater to modern women's lifestyle.

Angelababy has also become part of meilapp.com, creating a platform specializing in cosmetics for Chinese women.

Huang and Angelababy's wedding was attended by more than 2,000 guests, including several celebrities and corporate personalities.
