New "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 details will have Phil Coulson's team and ATCU go up against Lash in a latest trailer and a possible crossover with "Captain America: Civil War" soon.
Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." star Clark Gregg teased the possibility of having a crossover within the show and "Captain America: Civil War". Loeb told ComicBook during the New York Comic Con event that he and Gregg have been talking about the possible details for both Marvel movies and TV series to be intertwined with one another in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Loeb stated that in reality both movies and TV series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are connected, a fact proven from past episodes of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and movies like "Iron Man 3", "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", "Avengers: Age of Ultron" etc.
Gregg on the other hand, stated that he still in the dark about the details and he will soon find out if Marvel Studios will hand him a script about it and added that the producers of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." usually does not give out big surprises to the cast in order to create a natural reaction in the end once everything has been laid out to them and the audiences.
It is rumored the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will be spark that will ignite the big "Civil War" event in "Captain America 3" now that public is aware of aliens and super powered beings in the world. The United States government has created the "Advance Threat Containment Unit" to handle situations involving them and heroes like "Avengers", Daredevil and many more might be dealt with soon through the use of "the Accords", which leads to a conflict of ideals, principles and rights between Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
In other news, a new trailer for episode 4 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will feature Phil Coulson (Gregg) and Rosalind Price (Constant Zimmers) teaming up to take down the Inhuman Lash (Mattew Willig).
Episode 4 is titled "Devils You Know" will have SHIELD and ATCU working together to stop Lash from killing other Inhumans, while Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) are getting closer to meeting Kebo (Daz Crawford), one of Grant Ward's (Brett Dalton) men in the new HYDRA and May feels that Hunter's personal vendetta towards Ward could jeopardized their cover, International Business Times reported.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 airs on Tuesday at 9PM E.T on ABC.
